What is Engage?
Engage is Weltrio's healthcare engagement service for small businesses that provide healthcare stipends, credits, or ICHRA/QSEHRA arrangements instead of traditional group insurance.
Rather than leaving employees to navigate the complex ACA marketplace alone, Engage provides every employee with a dedicated health advocate and nurse who guide them through plan selection, enrollment, and ongoing healthcare decisions.
This isn't insurance—it's the human relationship layer that makes individual coverage actually work for your employees.
Why Does Employee Healthcare Navigation Matter?
Most employers renew their health plans year after year without questioning the underlying assumptions. Brokers present options, carriers set rates, and leadership approves budgets based on incomplete information.

Employer Enrollment
Days 1-5: Sign service agreement and provide employee roster. We assign dedicated advocates based on your team size.
Employee Onboarding
Days 6-14: Each employee receives an introduction to their dedicated advocate. Initial assessment captures health history, family situation, and coverage needs.
Plan Selection Support
During Open Enrollment: Advocates walk employees through marketplace options, explain trade-offs, and ensure they maximize any applicable tax credits.
Ongoing Navigation
Year-Round: Employees have continuous access to their advocate for healthcare questions, provider searches, bill explanations, and care decisions.
When Should I Choose Engage?
The best time to implement Engage is 60-90 days before ACA Open Enrollment (November 1 - January 15). This gives us time to onboard your team and prepare employees for confident plan selection.
That said, Engage provides value at any point in the year. Employees can enroll through Special Enrollment Periods when life circumstances change, and our ongoing navigation support helps year-round.
Companies launching new ICHRA or QSEHRA programs, transitioning away from group coverage, or simply wanting to support employees already on individual plans all benefit immediately.
Where is Engage Available?
Engage is available in all 50 states. Because we support employees navigating the individual ACA marketplace rather than providing group coverage, there are no state-specific enrollment minimums or restrictions.
Service delivery is location-agnostic—your employees receive the same dedicated support whether they're in New York, Texas, or anywhere in between. All communication channels (phone, text, app, email, video) work nationwide.

Engage is designed for small businesses with 2-49 employees who don't offer traditional group health insurance. This includes:

How is Engage different from just giving employees a healthcare stipend?
A stipend gives employees money. Engage gives them expertise. Without guidance, employees often choose plans that don't fit their needs, miss subsidy opportunities, and struggle to use coverage effectively. Engage provides the human support that makes individual coverage actually work.What's the difference between the three tiers?
Tier 1 (Weltrio Navigation) gives employees $0 deductible and 100% coverage when they coordinate care through their advocate. Tier 2 (Standard PPO) has a $5,000 deductible and 70/30 coinsurance for employees who want to use in-network providers without coordination. Tier 3 (Out-of-Network) has a $10,000 deductible and 50/50 coinsurance. Employees can choose any tier for any visit.How quickly will we see savings?
Immediately. In self-funded arrangements, every claim avoided flows directly to your bottom line. You'll see intervention activity in the first month. Measurable cost impact typically becomes clear within 60-90 days. Monthly reporting tracks savings by category so you always know where value is being created.
